Q1:
Roughening of the electrodeposited surface caused by bumping, at elevated temperatures, of rinse water
retained in a concave area on a horizontal surface.

A1:

  • Place the workpiece at an angle. Allow the conveyor to oscillate.
  • Provide an air blower to remove retained rinse water.

Q2:
Electrodeposited finish that looks stained, resulting from a higher-than-appropriate concentration of rinse
water.

A2:

  • Check the ultrafilter permeate rate.
