Blocking refers to the forming of lumps of particles adhering to each other in a powder paint container. The lumps range from hard to soft , some of which are so soft that they cannot be picked up with the fingers.

It is necessary, before a vacation longer than one week, to take measures to avoid the blocking of powder paint in the paint booth.
(including those in the paint tank and the pipe of coating machine).
During the vacation, the powder paint in the paint booth should be placed in a plastic bag or other similar bag and stored in a refrigerated room controlled to a prescribed temperature.

- Store the paint in a closed container at an indoor location at a temperature not higher than 30°C (or not higher than 27°C for acrylic powder paint).

- Avoid direct contact with moisture.
- Store any remainder of the paint in a closed container.
Q3: Do you store a large amount of powder paint in one container?

- A large amount of powder paint may be packed by its own weight. Divide it for storage.
Q4: Is the temperature of the carrier air high?
A4:
- Inspect the air dryer and oil filter. If faulty, repair the device(s) immediately.
Q5: Did moisture or oil mix into the carrier air or the paint?
A5:
- Inspect the air dryer and oil filter. If faulty, repair the device(s) immediately.
- Identify where moisture or oil has mixed in and eliminate the cause.
